Prayer in the Garden

It is composed of a single image, of dressing, of anonymous authorship although ascribable to the Sevillian school, which is inspired by the eighteenth-century models. It was made in 1918 to accompany like Cirineo to a carving of Jesus Nazareno of the locality of Torrelavega, in Cantabria. Currently, and after its acquisition by the Brotherhood of True Cross of Palencia, it represents St. Peter crying after having denied three times knowing Christ.
