In the first moments of Holy Thursday, and among the most absolute silence, it stars the procession, which has a strong Franciscan character, the first origin of the today Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulcher, through different symbols and acts. The first, the meeting of the Mother with the Cross on the facade of the Convent of Saint Claire; the second, the promise in front of the Virgin, in its invocation of the Fifth Anguish, in St Francisco Square.
After Holy Wednesday, in the first hours of Holy Thursday, the first of the processions of the so-called Thursday of Fraternal Love takes place: the PROCESSION OF THE FIFTH ANGUISH. It is possibly one of the most emotional processions in which the cold of the night accompanies the brothers who silently accompany the image of the Fifth Anguish. A silence that is disturbed by the touch of the drum, which breaks at night and marks the rhythm of the procession.
